The Playful Pittsburgh Collaborative is a group of organizations dedicated to advancing the importance of play in the lives of children, families and communities in the Pittsburgh region. Play isn’t just about recess and playgrounds and children and games. Play is a critical element in the lives of people of all ages and all abilities. It’s important that we highlight play as a valued and readily available aspect of daily life through education and advocacy, playful events, and community resource building. Learn about the work of the collaborative, how you can get involved and how you can integrate play into your life and the lives of those around you!

Sarah Siplak is the director of the Playful Pittsburgh Collaborative and works to keep pushing forward the mission of the group through events, activities, meetings, play and conversation. Prior to becoming director of the Play Collaborative, Sarah was the Director of Programs at the Saturday Light Brigade. She strives to be playful in all that she does as a mom, a musician, a wife, a co-worker and everything she does!

Global Links Lunch + Learn series is a free monthly event featuring speakers on topics such as health, sustainability and humanitarian issues. Lunch + Learn offers guests an informative lunch hour of education and engaging discussion. ​Presentations start at 12pm and last about 1 hour. Light refreshments provided.
