PCRG Community Development Summit – May 8-9, 2019
Join the Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group (PCRG) for the 2019 Community Development Summit. The annual Summit features keynote speakers and engaging breakout sessions designed to cover the myriad of issues that surround community development. PCRG honors and lifts up the work of their members and partners, providing access to the state of the art in community and economic development. Sessions cover topics from strategies for increasing financial resources available to communities to land use topics such as community planning, land recycling, and affordable housing, mobility equity and transit-oriented development, and community capacity and organizing.
The theme for the 2019 Summit is “Capital and Capacity: Replanting Roots in an Ever-Shifting Reinvestment Landscape.” A re-focusing on access to capital – for individuals and businesses, and ensuring that we’re investing in the skills and capacity of people as much as in place – will be this year’s prime focus.
