Join the ACLU of PA’s Campaign for Smart Justice for a forum for the Allegheny County District Attorney election on May 9th.
From the Campaign for Smart Justice:
“The district attorney is the most powerful person in the criminal justice system – and they answer to you.
On May 21, voters in Allegheny County will have the opportunity to vote in the first competitive primary election for district attorney in two decades.
As the Campaign for Smart Justice continues to work to reduce incarceration by 50 percent and address the racial disparities that plague the criminal justice system in Pennsylvania, we have invited the incumbent district attorney Stephen Zappala and the challenger Turahn Jenkins to a candidate forum to discuss where they stand on smart criminal justice reform.”
