Pittsburgh Mayoral Candidate Forum

Event Details:
PUMP, Urban League Young Professionals, University of Pittsburgh Graduate School for Public and International Affairs, WESA/WYEP Generation Listen, and the Pittsburgh Spot are hosting a FREE Mayoral Candidate Forum for all declared individuals running in the 2017 Pittsburgh mayoral election. This event is a unique opportunity for young people living in Pittsburgh to explore the vision, policies, and positions of each candidate. The format, content, and civic engagement fair participants will focus on the issues and policies most important to young people in Pittsburgh. Join us for this once in every four years event!
Interested in volunteering at the event? Please sign up at Pittsburgh Cares HERE. All volunteers who commit four (4) hours of time will receive a voucher for two (2) tickets to a 2017 Pirates game.
Program Agenda:
- 6:30 PM – Doors open
- 7:00 – 8:30 PM – Mayoral Candidate Forum
- 8:30 – 10:00 PM – Reception and Civic Engagement Fair (refreshments served)

- Rodef Shalom Congregation (4905 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213) Entrance is in the rear of the building, just off of the parking lot.

Event organizers expect this will be a well attended event, so register early to reserve your seat. Registrants will have the opportunity to suggest a question during the registration process. Childcare will be provided for those who need it, but must be reserved by Wednesday through registration. ASL interpretation will be provided. Please note your preference for a reserved front row seat if desired.
