PLAY4PURPOSE

Open Field’s PLAY4PURPOSE charity soccer tournament is a fun way for soccer players in Pittsburgh to make an impact in the lives of more than 1,000 youth in PIttsburgh and West Africa. Open Field’s mission is to improve the lives and futures of youth through sport. They do this through programming that promotes life skills, leadership, health, girls’ empowerment, and peace through the global game of soccer.

About the event:

What: 7v7 co-ed adult soccer tournament

When: Sat. Aug 7th (first games kick off at 9am)

Where: Schley Oval

Who: anyone 18+ (competitive & friendly divisions)

Why: Have fun, raise funds, collect equipment, and bring awareness to Open Field‘s Soccer for Social Impact programming that impacts more than 1,500 youth in PIttsburgh and in Africa.

 

REGISTRATION IS OPEN NOW THROUGH JULY 6TH (Website says June 30th but we are extending one week). Team’s do not need a full roster to register – they just need to commit to the mission & fundraising goal ($1k between the team)
