PSL Service Project: A Volunteer Experience in Mt. Washington!

August 12, 2016 @ 5:30 am - 8:00 am

Volunteer with the PSL!

On Friday August 12th from 5:30-7:00 the PSL will be hosting a volunteer based service project in Dilworth Park, of Mt. Washington. Registration for volunteering will open on Wednesday July 13th and all registrants will receive a PSL t-shirt and a PSL water-bottle. The goal of the service project will be to help the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy on field maintenance – weeding and fixing of tree cages, picking up litter along the trail and removing invasive plants. This is a great way to give back to the communities we play in every day of the week! We are the primary users of Dilworth Field and, as such, we want to ensure it stays beautiful to play on for a long time to come!

What you need to know:

Please meet at the field at 5:20 on Friday August 12th ready to get dirty! There is street parking all around the field location.

Volunteers should wear long pants and sturdy close-toed shoes. We will have some water at the field, but you may also want to bring your own!

Directly after the volunteer event all volunteers will conclude at Bigham Tavern for some complimentary appetizers and either one Miller Lite or Blue Moon draft.

Register here to reserve your spot!
