Join us on Friday May 10th for a PSL Service Project in Riverview Park (North Side). We are looking for volunteers to help us with trail-building in the park. All participants will receive a PSL t-shirt and a complimentary beer following the event.
Why is Volunteering Important:
Each year the PSL hosts volunteer events to help give back to the neighborhoods we play in. This area of the North Side has been stricken with landslides in the last year; which in turn affects trails and park access. Our trail-building work will help re-connect the park and ensure safety and use for all visitors to the park. This community support is vital to building the best Pittsburgh!
For our Service Project we are excited to partner with the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, Friends of Riverview Park and The Northside Youth Mountain Bike Club.
What you need to know:
Please meet at the Valley Refuge Shelter at 5:30 PM on Friday May 10th ready to get dirty! An exact address will be sent in an email prior to the event to all registered attendees. There will be lots of street parking.
Volunteers should wear a long shirt, long pants and sturdy closed-toed shoes. If you have an extra pair of gloves please bring them. All other tools will be provided. Please bring water.
Directly after the volunteer event we will enjoy a complimentary beer (must be 21+) and enjoy our hard work!
Questions can be sent to Jaime.
