Rhythm of the Trails Community Bike Ride
September 17, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Join the World Affairs Council on Saturday, September 17, 10AM–12:30PM for Rhythm of the Trails Community Bike Ride!
The route will be predominantly trail riding along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail with featured stop talks on local musical landmarks like Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild (MCG), where we will learn about the global reach of @MCGJazz. We’ll also enjoy a musical interlude by MCG Jazz Executive Producer and guitarist, Marty Ashby, during the stop. We will also be joined during the ride by Pittsburgh-based musician Byron Nash for a live musical performance!
We will kick off at 10AM at the POGOH Bike Sharing Station – North Shore Trail. Make sure to arrive early to check in, prepare for the ride, and get comfortable on your bike – bring your own or use one from @POGOHbikes!
After the ride ends around 12:30PM, we’ll keep the fun going with a refreshing beverage and conversation! Participants will also enjoy free General Admission to Carnegie Science Center @carnegiescictr including GUITAR: The Instrument That Rocked The World!
