Supporting Working Families

Representative Dan Miller, along with the Women and Girls Foundation, is hosting an event to discuss how to better support working families. The discussion will center around the Family Care Act (which Rep. Miller is a lead sponsor of in the PA House of Representatives), workplace accomodations for pregnancy, child care, employment rights, and leave policies.

The Family Care Act is legislation that would establish paid family and medical leave insurance in Pennsylvania. PUMP is a coalition member of the Family Care Act Campaign, because we believe everyone should have options when it comes to caring for themselves or their loved ones.
