What Black Pittsburgh Needs to Know about COVID-19: Virtual Town Hall

Join 1Hood Media and the Urban Kind Institute for a virtual town hall to discuss What Black Pittsburgh Needs to Know About COVID-19. Moderated by Dr. Chery Hall-Russell, Pres. of BW3 and featuring remarks from Jasiri X, founder and CEO of 1Hood Media, Dr. Jamil Bey, CEO of the UrbanKind Institute and Dr. Tiffany Gary-Webb, Assoc Professor of Epidemiology and Behavioral and Community Health Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh.

The town hall will be hosted on the Facebook live stream of @1hoodmedia.

The town hall seeks to provide resources and supports for Black Pittsburgh residents who are disproportionately impacted due to the existence of pre-existing medical conditions, local policy initiatives, medical racism, economic mobility, and misinformation.
