Gendering the Pandemic: Virtual Town Hall with the Gender Equity Commission of Pittsburgh

April 15, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

The Gender Equity Commission of Pittsburgh is hosting a virtual town hall on the gendered impacts of COVID-19. The pandemic is exposing and deepening existing inequalities. Gender intersects with race, poverty, ability, and other social identities, so people from our most marginalized communities are experiencing the greatest disparaties.

This town hall is an opportunity to connect, address gendered impacts of COVID-19, and learn from community members what they are seeing “on the ground” right now in Pittsburgh.

Confirmed speakers:

  • Nicole Molinaro – Women’s Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh
  • Ciora Thomas – SisTers PGH
  • Tammy T. Thompson – Circles Greater Pittsburgh

You must register here to attend this Town Hall.
