Black History Ride with Major Taylor

February 27, 2021 @ 11:30 am - 2:00 pm

Join us LIVE IN PERSON as we kick off Black History Week at Venture Outdoors! We are highlighting Black owned and Black led organizations, businesses, and historic locations this week through wellness movements, exercise and empowering conversations. Please register each participant individually so that we can keep an accurate count.

Black History Ride with Major Taylor is a LIVE IN PERSON cycling event involving a meetup at Everyday Cafe, a black owned establishment in the Homewood/Larimer area. The group will ride approximately 8-10 miles, learning about the Homewood/Larimer areas, it’s black history, and Major Taylor Cycling.

Bring your bike, water, and wear your mask. You will also be able to purchase food and water from local black owned establishments. Check the weather and dress appropriately. Expect a slow stroll to appreciate the highlighted businesses and locations.

The route will be mostly flat. Families with their own bikes are welcome!

Please sign the Major Taylor Cycling waiver here:
